Metus nox Noctis (lyrics, bling, hands)

Eh, I found this among my lyrics and considered writing some music for it.. I think it's somewhat decent, any feedback would be appreciated!

Metus nox Noctis

I'm on my knees in your threshold
Crumbling mortar, as tears run down my face
Thought I'd found the road to somewhere but I was
Just chasing shadows of your grace

I hold the cup of your crimson wine
The glass is cracked, and it cuts into my shaking hands
Yet your blood trickles away from mine
My lungs are crushed from my screaming

Where are you now?

Dry crusts sift through my fingers
They softly hit the floor and lie
Your broken body, cupped in these hands
And I can't stand to look at you

Where are you now?

My toes scrape the edge
Endless earthen six-foot abyss
Pebbles crumble as the side gives way to my weight
I need your hand, where are you now?
