Like marches into the sunset
like the way your hair dances in the wind sunlight dances in my eyes, You've always been to fragile for me to hold and as we go, and set forth for a new country a new nation to which we can look at a flag with hope, hope that one day we will have a legacy ahead of us I hope you remember how the sun felt, I doubt any of us will see it again

Mhh, it doens't really seem connected. Like what does the sunlight in your eyes (which would metaphorically more point to your fragilness at that moment than hers) have to do with her being fragile?
And why would you say a burning sun, is dying? I get what you mean metaphorically, I just don't think it sounds right. Maybe it could be dying in your chest, getting colder, or instead of dying, explode after heat up. Depends on the scenario with the girl.
