Radio Silence
subtelty's an art which I haven't yet mastered,
my feelings declared with a sigle blast, a deafening blow for my listeners tuned in to the late night show broadcasted last radio silence static can be heard the mic's turned off for the sake of the station governed by a madman the listeners flee with no hesitation, my ratings fall and hit the floor I'm left standing with nothing to do, but leave my heart and lock the door radio silence static can be heard the mic's turned off for the sake of the station governed by a madman with my outlet shut and left to burn I'm set free but nowhere to turn --------------------------------- Well, this is my first attempt and would appreciate any feedback. I just thought of the first line while thinking of a messenger display name and went with it from there. Only a first draft that I'll probably adapt once I try and sing it.
