Somebody call a vet

(In the style of a country or folk lament)

I had a dog
A little doggie
He was so fluffy
So soggy-nosed
He used to crawl between my bedclothes
In the morning
Without warning

So now, where did my doggie go
I looked so high and I've looked so low
I checked in every corner of the house
And peered under a table but I only found a mouse
I took an ad out in the local paper
It said 'has anybody seen my doggy', with no success
But then, a little later
As I was surfing the internet
That's where I found my long-lost pet

Spot
On an mpeg
Doing a funny thing with his hind-legs
And a man
In a gimp-mask
Taking my poor little puppy up the ass

We used to go out for walks
And I well recall he liked the taste of pork
And that his tail would start wagging when there was shaggin' on the TV
I suppose that I should have guessed
By the way he barked each time that I undressed
It wasn't fleas that made his balls begin to itch
All he really wanted was a dirty little bitch

Oh spot
Where have you gone?
And when did you take to filming bestial porn?
My poor old pooch
I am dismayed to find
That you enjoy being taken from behind

Well, spot
You hurt me so very much
I felt compelled to write this song
Your vile video broke my heart

It also kind of turned me on

This is hilarious and easily my favourite. Love the sick twist at the end.

Cheers for pointing that one out!

Glad you liked it Right-Track, its one of my proudest lyrical achievements because I decided to write a entire song by just playing the first thing that came into my head and recording it all in one take while I was going, and this was what appeared.

So this song took me about 4 minutes to write, tune, lyrics, chords and all!

This is brilliant, you can tell in some parts that it was done in 4 minutes but that kind of adds to the funniness of it. You can imagine this being turned into one of them funny flash things that plague the net.

Oh and by the way, Obsolete Alibi has been stuck in my head all day since I downloaded it. I think you're onto something big there.

Cheers Hobo. Glad you've got the 'obsolete addiction' too! We actually played a gig last night (having only been asked to do it the previous day!) with another band you might want to check out

www.myspace.com/blacklightscene (check them out, the singer's great)

Unfortunately, both bands sounded a bit pants due to doing rubbish soundchecks. Guitars were way too quiet. Plus the crowd were extremely serious but it was still great fun to be playing... we were experimenting with our 'image' and decided to all go in 60's style long-sleeved shirts this time (last gig was t-shirts with comedy logos). With our long-ish blond hair and designer specs, me and Paul looked like a couple of interior designers!

Anyway, sorry I can't analyse your lyrics at the moment - spent the whole day arsing around with studio recording files and didn't manage to get into the lab to do any PhD work, so I'm staying home tonight to do that... away from the evil computer distractions... see you guys in a few days...

That was great.
