Default a new song

Lets go on a-
nother drug adventure
Smoke a bowl a-
gain to find the laughter
Pop some pills to
make my heart beat faster
Chew some caps and
the colors make patterns

yeah...
Lets get a little higher
yeah...
Forget about the fire
yeah...
I hear my body calling
yeah..
I dont think that I'll answer
no...no...no...whoa whoa

I float around
Try to follow the sound
Falling down now
I hear the demons howl
I lost my way
The path is torn and frayed
Feels all the same
Coming down anyway

yeah...
..
..
no...no...no...whoa whoa

I lose my mind
Hope it comes back in time
Search on the floor
But there's nothing to find
I'm so confused
Think I used to be you
What do I do
When the last screw is loose

Good ol' drug songs. If coupled with good music and said with enough conviction, lyrics that could otherwise sound wankie can sound really cool. See 'Down', and to a lesser extent 'Corrosion of conformity'

Though my tastes are prejudicing what I'm 'hearing' in this song. What style is the music behind it?

We have a lot of influences, but this is probably the closest overall sound:

Ours is more rock, less reggae, but not losing that rad reggae sound.

I'll admit it's not something I'd be inclined to write/listen to myself, and it's not earth shattering in content, but I can totally see how it would work...seems to fit well with the style, and I like the elements of conflict.
