Hmmm, what could this one be about?

Break the Silence:

Carve out
A pattern
In my back
With nailmarks
(x2)

Trembled tension
Pulses pounding
Forget about
Our surroundings
(x2)

No words, no prose
Both my hands in your clothes
Feeling how fast your heart is beating
Prone pleasure on your back
Imitate a heart attack
Waking up the street with gale-force breathing

Break the silence
Break the silence

Trembled tension
Pulses pounding
Forget about
Our surroundings
(x2)

Warm bed, thin walls
Noises that you can’t control
Everyone can hear you instinct screaming
Prone pleasure on your back
Imitate a heart attack
Waking up the street with gale-force breathing

Break the silence
Break the silence

about sex, obviously. It's good, well written, and flows well, but I'm not crazy about it. Songs about sex are great, but personally, without any mention of any emotions tied to it, the song just doesn't interest me. It could be that the song is about sex being the only important thing between two people, but in that situation, there are circumstances that have resulted in that type of relationship. Good writing, but the subject, as it is, just doesn't interest me that much, who knows, maybe it's because i'm a girl.

I on the other hand rather enjoyed that. The way it flow's the way you can picture how its happening so clear, the nails on the back everything.. seems intense. It works well with my mind well reading it for a few reasons.. i have a very intense imaginenation and can picture things so perfectly, more so sexual things, so because of this i think the song/poem is great just fits perfectly :) but where its sex related it wouldn't say its "sex", "making love" or anything of any romantic nature.. more so... yea you know what i'm saying ;)

Yeah, I said it was well written, but that it didn't interest me. His use of imagery is great, and it flows nicely, but for me to like a song there has to be more substance to it. And just out of curiosity, what the hell were you talking about when you said "but where its sex related it wouldn't say its "sex", "making love" or anything of any romantic nature.. "?

****ing.. there is a difference.. like with music "sex" falls in many different types.. that song to me seems to really have nothing to do with any sexual desire to actually want some or anything romantic with that person.. more so just wants to have a intense fuck...

you know this is what i meant..

Last time I checked sex had one meaning. Something can be sexual and not be sex, but something being sex is sex. So if a music is about sex, then its about having sex not something else.

uhh, no, I really didn't know what you meant. Sex us sex, it doesn't have to be a "romantic" or "emotional" experience. Most people would agree that it's pretty straightforward.

yes clearly.. but what i'm saying is sex, making love, ****ing, and many more are all different.. sex can be just sex yes.. but there are more then one type of "sex" to fall into it.. this is what i got from the song.. that it seems like fucking out of all the types i know it could be.. TO ME!

Skuroccer9 02-12-2006 06:16 PM

alright....calm down. I was just wondering why you were talking like you were saying something completely different than I was. If you'd read my post, you would have known that I pretty much just said the exact same thing you did. Mind you, I wasn't angry when I was explaining it. This seems to be a topic that get's you very upset. Is there something you might like to get off your chest? Perhaps talking to a counsellor would help.
