Solitary Open Air We Don't Live Cos We Don't Care
I've been in my car with the windows down/
A bright light started swirling and it threw us around/ where did my left shoe go?/ I've asked that girl, but she says she don't know/ What are these sounds on the radio?/ Sounds like music that I guess we don't know/ The bright light turns green/ all I can hear is the car scream/ and it starts to fade like clouds and the clouds fade aswell/ I guess we're going to hell Seventeen years not one spent/ living full to the edge what is life meant/ I'm crawling but the light will not disappear/ it just keeps on shining and it shines through my fears/ what are your aches and pains?/ if we told you we weren't coming then what would you gain?/ Nothing I guess that we just don't know/ But what do we know?/ I know we don't know/ Honking my horn with the bells on/ there's a field over there that we're driving along/ the blue man speaks in several tongues/ if we all stay quiet then we'll have more fun/ where is Kimmy with my shotgun?/ she said she'll be back but now she's on a run/ forgot to pack my bullets and now we're lost/ with the bright green light take your life what would it cost?/ |

The last verse was my favorite...
It seems like a rap to me..is it? It kinda sounds like those raps you hear on tv about staying in school or not doing drugs or how its important to have a dream...y'know what I'm saying? Not that its even close to being about any of those things, I just think it would SOUND a lot like them...not in a lyrical sense. |
