Haha.
Well, I defintly wouldnt call them trash. They are great albums.
They arent his best efforts but, not every album you put out can match the previous. Especially if the previous is Fevers And Mirrors.
To call them trash is ridiculous.
I would much rather listen to Digital Ash than any Led Zeppelin album, or any record by Pink Floyd.

You just shot yourself in the foot.

One, I never said anything about you directly, but taking offence to me saying whiney people run rampant here only condems yourself.

Also, who said anything about the internet being a representation of real life? And what does that mean? I honestly don't even know what you're saying here.

We shouldn't argue because we're not doing it in person? Well you couldn't have said that because you argued back, you've arged before this post and after it.

Does it mean we shouldn't like The White Stripes because this argument is on the internet. It couldn't, because that might be the most illogical thing I've ever read. So what does "I don't care if you take the internet seriously, because it isn't a representation of real life" mean, and what does it have to do with what we said?

And you completly disregarded the fact that I said you're approach was unneeded, so I guess you won't refute that, you'll again condem yourself as assanine. You also said nothing about the fact that you (at that point) offered nothing to this thread and posted off topic.

To recap, you agree to everything I said about you, and your argument against me was illogical and incoherent. I don't know what to say to you....you're going to need to clear up.

I also think Adam Duritz (or whatever) is a pretty good lyricist. I know he's not this century yet, but im sure the Counting Corws will record something new. Also, Beck isn't bad at all.

1) No one personally attacked you.

2) No one tried to "pinpoint" your personality.

3) You came into MY topic without any input of your own, just a put-down of what people like (myself included).

Like Big3 said, I don't care what you like, but don't come into a topic with malicious intentions of trashing what other people like. Especially when you have no valid points, just your own childish opinions.

"One Headlight" better than "Blowin' In The Wind", "It Ain't Me Babe", "Hurricane", "Times They Are A-Changin'", "Subterranean Homesick Blues", "Mr. Tambourine Man", "Like A Rollin' Stone", "Stuck Inside of Mobile...", "Queen Jane Approximately", "Visions of Johanna", "All Along The Watchtower"?... I could go on for another forty songs.

You know what they call someone who posts unnecessary garbage for the purpose of annoying other users? A TROLL.

In fact, great job not having any clue what music I listen to. When you turn posting on forums over the internet into trying to pinpoint someone's personality using personal attacks (Crowe/TheBig3), you can end up looking like a pretentious moron. The fact is, I don't care if you take the internet seriously, because it isn't a representation of real life.
1.) I apologized at the end of my post for going off on you. In retrospect I probably should have just erased it to begin with. My bad again.

2.) You listen to all of those bands I mentioned. I know this because I am on the MX forums and have seen you have discussions about them. You also have some of these bands listed in your fav. bands. So I guess my clues to what you listen to are pretty spot on, wouldn't you say? I wasn't putting you down for them either, I listen to them as well. I was on a roll, though.

3.) In all honesty - the post that I responded to was one in which you were the pretentious moron, which is what sparked my response in the first place. If you run your mouth off about something in which you know little/nothing about, expect someone to call you on it.

4.) Just because we aren't face to face doesn't mean the internet isn't a representation of real life. The things we write and say still come from our ability to communicate, and whether you like it or not communication is the very basis of civilized human life as we know it. What you basically said is for me not to take your thoughts and ideas seriously... should I just ignore and disrespect and discount everything you say? Then what good is a forum where people come to share ideas and talk to one another? Think about it.

All this aside, I usually do enjoy your opinions and we do share similar music tastes... but sometimes you come off as an elitist ****, and those are the type of people who ruin music.

Taken into consideration, I apologize for the lack of clarity or direction in my points. I don't really talk music that much, seeing as on MX I prefer to remain in S&L, but with practice I will get better at formulating my opinions in a less obnoxious manner. I will attempt to stick to the topics covered within the threads, because more than anything I'm not into arguing over forum sites, but rather like to experience the communal knowledge held within them. My apologies.
