shallow looks
deep water eyes
saddness and myrth
they intertwine
like the roots
of a long dead vine

love and loss
the truth be told
all that is
was never gold

life and love
flutter so soft
becomes the wings
of a a pure white dove

such thoughts beguile
my sad hearts fancy
such things as these
make me antsy

the truth be known
in the dark nights hour
what then shall become
of all ones power

my heart stands still
and beats no more
it cries but a trill
in the midnights noir

to where lies the truth
in the word lenore
nameless again
forever more.

I liked it...but it did seem a bit idle....it's WAY depressing, but good if you like depressing... I give it 8 out of 10.
