Don't Cry For This Ending is a Tragedy
Don't Cry For This Ending is a Tragedy
On the morning she decided to leave me, Was the morning where she set me free. And when she told me I couldn't stop laughing, And clapping while I rolled around the bed. I helped her pack her things and I whistled, An Irish tune that I learned from TV, And suddenly she stopped and stare at me. I told her to hurry up, I had things to do, Normally they would be with who else but you, But since you insist, do not expect me to resist, I've been waiting for this day, much like you. She balled her fist and swung at me, and without, A reaction she hit me right square in the jaw. And does it trouble you that my first thought, As my head hit the green grass of the lawn was, Oh look at how nice the flowers are in bloom Oh look at how nice the flowers are in bloom Oh look at how nice the flowers are in bloom. Nursing my wounds with a bottle of brew, I held it close like I used to hold her and, I drank it down like I used to enjoy her and, Remember the moment when she punched me, Hard and I hit the ground with a smile it seems, That it was the culmination of everything bad, And finally I'd be in luck for a little while. She came back to beg forgiveness as soon, As the thought entered my mind. She begged, Me endlessly and on her knees I simply had to decline. I asked her if she wanted a drink, and she asked me, If I was serious and I pulled out a Ginger Ale. And as I turned back to her to see her face, I was met with something else, it was her fist. And does it trouble you that my first thought, As my head hit the carpet on the wooden floor was, Wow these carpets look pretty good in my room Wow these carpets look pretty good in my room Wow these carpets look pretty good in my room Now my jaws grew bigger like a superhero's, And after she kicked me while I was down, I heard her stomp and scream as she slammed my, Door that connects to my kitchen and while, I sat with my puffy face, I still had to smile yeah, I smiled through the pain. I was finally free, good, mercy me. I thought I was as good as gone. Giving my life away so early, I knew that things, Would move along and I waited so eagerly for, The next few days to bring me a life to start anew. And like a river time did flow, but it must of been backwards, Because before I knew it she was back and on her knees, Before me. She cried and screamed like you wouldn't believe. If only I'd take her back she'd change. I finally agreed, And she leaned over and kissed me and I sighed deep. And does it trouble you that my first though, As her lips hit the spot that she bruised was, I hope this relationship is over soon. I hope this relationship is over soon. I hope this relationship is over soon. But it never was. |

Song Writing Forum's Greatest Hits
I think that there are so few of us on here that we should try to pull some more MB'ers in here. I think we should come up with a list of songs that we think have made the most impact or would have the most impact on the other MB'ers. I bet if those collabs went through, we could actually have an MB short album demo or something. So how should we go about this?
