My Brother's Dad is Twisted.
So I walk in this morning and my mom is laughing pretty hard, and I'm like, Yo mum. What is your deal? And she lays the story below on me. Preface. My ex step dad is my brother's father, my brother is 11. My mom divorced him when I was in ... second grade, I was 8 or 9, and I'm 19 now.
A Few Reasons Why My Ex- Step Dad is a ****ing Loon. - He took my 11 year old brother to see his own grave. No, not my stepdad's grave... he took him to my BROTHER'S GRAVE. And said to him, "This is where you will lay forever, right next to your grandparents and I." He already has a grave stone made up for him... he got it for a present when he was 9. My grandparents give me money. - He told my 7 year old brother (the same brother, but he was 7 at the time) that my mother loved me more than she loved him(my brother). When my mother figured this out, naturally she went ape-****, why would you say that to a 7 year old child? When he was approached about this, his justification was, "I was sympathizing with him because you (my mother) grounded him from TV" - hmm, that sounds like a reasonable way to sympathize with a child... tell him that his mother doesn't love him. - My brother talks like he is from the 50s because me ole stepdad lives out in a farm in Illinois with his parents. He has actually said to another child in an argument "Hey buster, why don't you come over here so I can make somethin' out of ya!" in a threatening tone. Threatening is used against my best judgement, but that's what it was supposed to be. This really isn't my ex stepdads fault or does it make him crazy... but it's weird to be sure. - My brother caused a stir at school one day when he said he saw a man with a gun in the woods. The police came and did a search. When asked about the incident by a cop, Derek said he made it up and he doesn't know why. When his dad heard about it, he told my brother that he believed him, and told him that it was his job to fight crime. When my mother heard about this, she asked her ex-husband why he would encourage his type of behaviour... he said, "He wasn't lying, the only part that was a lie was the color of his eyes.. Derek never saw the color of his eyes." But he was right there when my brother told the cops he was lying... Needless to say, the police did not find the man. - He tells my brother that my mother will love her new husband more than she loves him. Sympathy indeed. - He tells my brother to not get too close to my mom's new husband, because my mother can't love anyone for too long - I mean, that's why they got divorced, right? That and the fact that me ole step da' kicked my dog across the room or grabbed me by my throat from time to time and gave me a good ole walloping in general. That can't be the reason! - Tells my brother to lie about things that he buys, because he doesn't want my mother to take him back to court for more money. My mom makes almost 75k more than he does on her salary, that's not including commission. He's a chiropractor. More money, indeed. - Buys cows, and lets my brother raise them and he gives them names... like pets. Oh, not so bad... my brother raises them on the farm... pretty happy little image there. They sit down to dinner one night and he tells my brother, Isn't Brownie good? Brownie was one of my brother's pets. - Told my brother that he had a surprise for him one day when he woke up. He brings my brother out to the porch and tells him to look under it... my brother sees his dog there... it's dead. My father then asks my brother, "Doesn't he look peaceful?" - Cries to make my brother feel bad. |
