grasping for my thoughts when everything else fades away/ ^I think that line could be shortened slightly to keep the flow feeling and thinking/ is not good for your health/ I like this for some reason. But anyway all in all, i think it's pretty damn reasonable when i see it written down and a good effort. |

the song is okay. i just particularly liked the pensieve thing. mainly cause it reminded me of harry potter

God lame, i hate songs like this, songs that try so hard to be emotional and just end up cheesy.

This song isn't trying to be emotional-in fact it doesn't make sense. I know it doesn't make sense, I don't understand it myself. I made it to be that way. I just wanted to point out how fickle the people are on these forums. I have created some songs that weren't very good, but at least they had a meaning. This song doesn't mean anything. I created it for that reason. I wanted to point out that people will say they like a song if it SOUNDS deep and meaningful. This song is less meaningful than any other of the songs I have posted in this forum. Read it again and you try to make sense of it. If you can then you clearly know more about it than I do, the writer. The people I have come into contact with in my time here have been one of two things-helpful or total motherf*cking losers who like to spend their time thinking they are god's gift to Earth and that their opinion is the be all and end all of everything. I am telling you it is not. I know my music and know that this song isn't half as good as the other songs I have posted. Even though they were quite short and simple they had a meaning and a plot. I just thought of words that sounded deep and that rhymed and stuck them into a song, something that took me all of 3 minutes. Now for this song to get more praise than any of my other songs really shows how utterly predictable and juvenile this forum is. I am sure now I will get many people once again arguing the toss with me on this thread about how I am wrong-AGAIN. But face facts-I am right...AGAIN.

I didn't mean praise as such, I meant a better response than I got from my other songs.

still, its gotten 2 actuall responses regarding the song itself, 1 liked 1 part, the other hated it. I dont see the point youre making, unless your other songs didnt get any responses at all, and even if they didnt, very few songs in this forum get alot of responses.

I've got 3 responses-one saying they liked the song, the other saying they thought the song was decent and the last saying it was cheesy. The point I was trying to make was that I posted up a few other songs before and they DID get responses. However, those responses were very negative and didn't really have anything good said about them. The point I was trying to make was that my other songs I spent quite a lot of time to write and they had meaning, but this song took me 3 minutes and it was just a load of sentences that sound deep and rhyme thrown together. I was trying to say that even though that song was totally dumb and never meant a thing people actually bought into it and said it was a good song because it sounded like something that other people in this forum would like. Even though the song was just a random piece of jibberish. Fair play to Electric Eye who didn't actually like it. I should have let the thread run on for longer so my point was more valid really. I am almost certain that I would have gotten decent opinions on the song from many more people otherwise. Basically I am just a little annoyed that songs that I genuinely spent some time on writing and put some thought into were cruelly shot down by people who like to follow the trend and go woth the flow. I was showing how fickle some people are on this forum and getting my point across. Now if you ask me to repeat that again I will kill you :ar_15s:
