Trying to clutch the desire that melts away/
grasping for my thoughts when everything else fades away/
and everyone/
they at some point know this song/
what they feel/
is an expression of self/
feeling and thinking/
is not good for your health/

When you look to God just to feel wanted/
when you think of the bad just to feel haunted/
and sometimes we sleep/
with the music and the light on/
we are scared/
in the dark of what might come/
we are fully grown/
yet we are scared of what is not known/

Darkness cloaks where the light used to shine/
that star in the sky that used to be mine/
my wishing star/
holds my mind like my body cannot/
a pensieve/
in which my dreams I slot/
we are lost inside/
my imagination say its time/
and we will go....
