Well I wrote this one a few nights back and am looking for any comments on it - how I could improve it or what I should look into possibly changing. Any feedback is welcome.

Teach me how to back away
If you won't take the leap
The way you're moving now
Has got me feeling like a lovesick teen
Don't tell me these feelings are make believe
And I'll be over you in a week
Because that's not true
I don't know how to get over you

I can go anywhere with you
And we could do anything
Grin at the raised eyebrows of those that say
You can't love when you're only a kid

So don your casual clothes
And meet me by your parent's car
I'll slash the tyres
So they don't find out where you are tonight
I know I need to convince you
But if I lose this I'm sure to miss you
So follow me into the night
