yeah but the unfortunate thing is that cookie cutter rock with a political message sells. people think its edgy cuz the band is speaking out against authority and what not.

The dark sound of metal?

Most metal bands and the music itself is centered around darker sounding elements and my question is where does this dark sound come from, what makes it dark?
