but some of Queen's stuff sure has stayed with us for a while such as We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions and u cant forget the theme to The Highlander hehehe ;)
I'm not neccessarily a fan but sure they have some music that stayed for generations in our musical souls heh heh heh :beer:

Queen is an amazing band loaded with talent. Fronted by the late Freddie Mercury and along his side the god Brian May. I would have to say there are *** men out there like freddie who do more than just bang tight asses. COOL songs by Queen- one year of love, stonecold crazy and, the show must go on and the famous bohemian rhapsody.

Queen will never be as well recognized as they should, aside from Bohemian and Bites the dust, Tie your mother down, and find me somebody to love are classic rock staples.

They are awesome.

freddie wrote bo' rap while getting a bj of his "man freind". that said, Queen quite simply rule.

I love "don't stop me now", best queen song ever in my opinion. and "we are the champions" always reminds me of the mighty ducks movies.

Ohhhh one of my faves! Bo Rhap isn't my favourite - The Phophets Song is. They are a great group with some truly classic songs. I've seen the Queen musical We Will Rock You 9 times - and even though it's not Freddie up there singing - its a top show. Being at the theatre one night, Brian May came up through the floor playing the guitar solo at the end to Bo Rhap - true class and what a surprise!

Queen are OK if you take them for what they are ........ nonsensical fluff

Most of their stuff was either too pompous or overblown , and not in a good way like Led Zeppelin.But having said that between 1973 & 1979 they did write some good rock tunes.

And I have to give them credit for being an awesome live band.

queen is one of the greatest bands ever in my opinion. they took rock to a totally different level by combining it w/ opera. basically, they're awesome

It'll never be the same though. Itll be great for sure, just not the same without Freddie.

Yeah Queen was good in their time, and Freddie Mercury used to do opera singing before joining the band...he was quite contraversial for his time, but none the less he was part of some timeless masterpeices.

they essentially started Power Metal in my opinion. I love them and aspire to one day sing as good as Freddy. Heavenly

Gotta be one of the greatest. They sound so good live and they can touch you with different styles of music, like Who Wants to Live Forever to Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

is there any thing left to say? except that they were the most complete band ever? if there is...it might be good and all in the memory of Freddie Mercury...

used to be a favourite of mine. now i merely like them. probably due to over-exposure from my queen-worshipping freinds.

I see what you mean, one of my friends is like that, he constantly goes on about how good green day are, when their new stuff totally sucks, sometimes I feel like strangling both my friend and billie-joe from green day.

oh i have a queen-worshipping freind AND a green day-worshipping freind. the latter just seems to want to hear green day and not a lot else.

Same here actually, cause one of my other friends goes on about queen all the time, doesn't bother me as much though, cause I actually like queen.

Not a personal favourite, but towards the top of my list.

Normally i would write here "I don't mean to be a ****", but I think I do mean to be a **** when I say, songs that are on any CD called Jock Jams should not be listed as song you like by a band. If it warms up cheerleaders, or you heard it smashed at a sporting event and your drunk ass can sing along, you shouldn't be allowed to list them. I'd accept the highlander theme over we will rock you. Oh thats the other thing, songs in emilio estavez movies: can't use 'em.

Sorry, german exam soon... But yeah, I love Queen. Ive been listening to them for as long as I can remember, quite literally. There's always gonna be that one song I hate though... Flash Gordon. I hate that song so much.
