Yes, it's ok cause I don't have infinite time to listen to music.
Page>Gilmour>Clapton>Blackmore>Hendrix
Why?
If I order them according to how well do I know their music, the order would be:
1. Page 2. Gilmour 3. Clapton 4. Blackmore. 5. Hendrix
I know I gotta listen more to Hendrix. I've never listened to a full album by him. Only some songs, while I've listened to entire albums by Clapton
By the way, I remember that I was listening to the radio, and the radio broadcaster said "All Along The Watchtower, what a great song by Cream!" And I thought, that doesn't sound like Clapton or Bruce singing...That's how I discovered Hendrix's music.
P.S. Roger Waters voted for Cream as the most important artists of all time for Rolling Stone Magazine, he even wrote an article about it. It's a very interesting article, in which he also talks about the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix or Keith Moon. Just in case you want to read it:

I can't say Hendrix is my favourite guitar player, if I don't know his music very well. I'm not a poser. As well as I don't say sgt. pepper's is my favourite album when i hardly ever listen to it.
Look, I could come here and talk about how much I love The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan, and how influential "Like A Rolling Stone" and Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band were, and talk about how great Leadbelly, Willie Dixon and Sonny Boy Williamson were and critize nowaday's music, but I'm not pretending to be an expert and show that I have a super-perfect taste in music influenced by the Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 best songs ever list.
Probably Jimi Hendrix was the best one, but I can't really say that, when I end up willing to listen to Clapton after listening to 3 songs by Hendrix.

Hendrix and Townshend should've both been sent to jail. And if you don't mind, explain what does "drop the zero and get with the hero" mean.

It means quit wasting your youth listening to EC and start building a lifetime of love with the GOAT: Jimi

OK, don't get me wrong, I really love Little Wing, All Along The Watchtower and Voodoo Child (Slight Return). Purple Haze, Fire and Hey Joe are good, too. Never liked Foxy Lady. There you have all the Hendrix songs I know really well. I just think I don't have the right to say Hendrix is my favourite guitar player when I can't name more than 10 songs by him. Was he the best? Probably. Can I say that he's my favourite when I spend 70% of my free time lsitening to Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple solos? I don't think so. I even get angry with Queen fans when they start talking and they only know 4 songs thanks to the movie! I know that I need to listen more to his music, but at the moment, I can't say much about him or say that he was undeniably the best.
P.S. At the moment, the GOAT for me isn't Jimi, it's JIMMY (As I see it's not very common in this forum to write P.S. in every message. Should I stop writting that in every coment?)

Little Wing is gorgeous. If you haven't heard it yet I really recommend The Wind Cries Mary, it's my favourite Jimi Hendrix song.

ps. It's totally fine to add a ps

Change your listening habits to invest in the knowledge of the music that’s going to pay the best dividends. Start listening to Hendrix. Two months later problem solved.

That will also shorten the time till you're listening to The Stooges. Very important.
