Ahh ok, although I would say that Queen and The Beatles are quite mainstream (everyone knows them). Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd...I mean Stairway To heaven and Another Brick In The Wall are really overplayed too! They're considered as legendary bands, and are very famous too.

Don’t write it off. Just save your opinions for when your ready for it. It takes a certain amount of incremental steps. For 14 you’re doing great. You already have sophisticated music taste. Stick around and you’ll end up appreciating and loving everything.
Yeah, thanks, I get it. 4 years ago I used to hate most of the bands I love now, I understand what you mean.

Buffalo Springfield
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

If you like Neil Young, both of these groups might also interest you because Neil Young played in both of them before he went solo.

Oh yeah, Buffalo Springfield were the For What It's Worth guys, right? I thought Stephen Stills was on that band, too

Thank you very much to everyone!! I'll listen to all your recommendations!

You can still coment an recomed as much as you want! I don't care if it isn't rock, you can also include from other genres! I'm really into classical, too.

As for other punk songs, I'm not sure if Lust For Life by Iggy Pop would be considered a punk song. If it is, then, great, because I love it. I thought Iggy was a cool guy untill I found a video of him and Yoko Ono "singing" together.
Just the thought of Iggy singing with Yoko is enough to send my Iggy boner crashing to the ground like the Hindenburg on it's worst day.
