Idk, I just don't get his music
Btw, what do you think about the Bee Gees?

obsessive fandom can be great fun! I've never really been into the Bee Gees, I only know the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack; I haven't heard it in a long time but I remember liking it. Even more so because I can't hear Stayin' Alive without thinking of this:

Spirits Having Flown is probably my favorite Bee Gees record, followed by 1991's High Civilization.

Hello, everyone! It's been a long time since I last posted here, I know that sometimes I take long breaks, like REALLY long, but I always keep on reading the new threads. The thing is I was on holiday in the north of Spain and I felt a bit lazy to write reviews (and I still feel too lazy to do so), because I've actually heard ALL the suggested albums and artists (at least one album by each one of them). There were tons of them, so what I'm gonna do is, that if you wanna ask me, I'll answer what I think about 'em, but I'm not gonna talk about all of them cause that's gonna last forever. This wasn't on the thread but I've actually got a little bit obsessed with the soundtrack of a certain sad and tragic movie...It has nothing to do with popular music, it's all instrumental classical music, but damn, I think it's superpowerful and even drives the movie at some points (well, it's not just a movie, it's a franchise) so if you wanna suggest something of that style I would thank you all!
By the way, I have to change the title of the thread to "Suggestions for a 15 year old "
Edit: I changed the initial list with my "new" favourite artists

Hey, Eleanor. You should start a thread doing reviews of your favorite albums, maybe in the Member's Journal section. That way, you can take your time doing your reviews or write about anything really. Trollheart has so many journals going it's hard to keep count.

I'll probably start a new journal myself or maybe revive one of my old ones. Anyway, give it a shot.

Trollheart's amazing reviews are worthy of admiration (don't know if it's said like that in English). I mean, I read his reviews, imagine myself writing all those long and super-detailed reviews and get tired just imagining it. But you're right, maybe I should give a try.

Hi Eleanor! Don't worry, you can write reviews in any way you want, and with any level of detail. There are no rules

I noticed, that's cool!

Also, two more recs for this thread:
The La's, tuneful 60s-like pop from the 90s

and The Late Great Townes Van Zandt, American country music

edit: oh also, have you ever listened to Blondie? If not, then I recommend their first album
