Anyone love their music? If so, name some songs, members, guitar solos, or lines from lyrics you like.

I like their songs Simple Man, Freebird, and Sweet Home Alabama. It's just sad all of them has passed!. O'well aslong as we have their music.

My favorite song: Tuesday's Gone
Favorite member: Ronnie (of course)
Favorite guitar solo: Solo from "Call Me The Breeze"
Favorite Lyrics:

Quote:
Well i've seen the hard times and the pressure's been on me
But i keep on workin' like the workin' man do.
And i've got my act together, gonna walk all over you.

Been up and down since i turned seventeen
Well i've been on top, and then it seems i lost my dream
But i got it back, i'm feelin' better everyday
Tell all those pencil pushers, better get out of my way
For the record, not all of the memers died, just about half.

Good to see there's people here who remember REAL music, though.
Keep on rockin!

Yeah, as everyone has said...I love Simple Man. Great lyrics and nice solo...I think but Skynyrd really isnt my style but I still like them. I loved Freebird after I heard it in the last part of the Devil's Rejects.

well, i grew up in the most redneck white trash yankee place there could possibly be, and there was sooo much skynyrd played on every radio there they turned a great band into something i got real tired of. it's kind of like getting ripped off. they are great, but i'm so sick of hearing their stuff it's not even funny. but that makes me think of another really awesome southern rock band. i'll have to make an exploratory post and see who likes them.
