I was never much of a Zeppelin fan, and because of that I’ve often had to hear a lot of Carl from my two best friends (who are, well, Zeppelin fanatics)

I remember when I once told them my favourite Zeppelin song was „All of my love”
And the whole conversation looked a bit like: „Heresy! Blasphemy! Hang him!”

I mean, you know, I loved Stairway to Heaven when I was like 12
And a couple of others
But then I quickly here tired of them
And started to think of them as this sort of One Trick Pony band
There’s only as much as I can listen to great musicians playing mediocre songs

And then, about a year ago, my father showed me their „reggae” tune (D’yer Mak’er), and I instantly loved the track
But I didn’t go out to listen to more tracks and change my mind

And just last week I found this lovely piece of music:

I was casualy listening to one of my Beatles playlists
And I forgot to put it in loop
And so Spotify started recomending me tracks based on the playlist

So, this track comes in, and I’m like „wow, what a great song, the hell is this?”
And then the singer started singing, and I was like „Damn, the guy sings an awful lot like Robert Plant”
So I checked what was it, and here I am.

I’m still not a Zeppelin fan, but damn, sometimes they get it right

Knebworth is HUGE!
Zep drew over 100K both times they played it in 1979.

Did ya know it's basically someone's back yard?
