I think Led Zeppelin is just as relevant today as the 70s. So many people I know go through the Led Zeppelin phase, and then they outgrow it because they think they know everything there is to know about them and it's all Stairway to Heaven.
I don't listen as much as I used to. You have to find the right mood but there's a song for everyone. I only listen to Led Zeppelin II that I got the CD of, because I put it in my CD collection. But there's so many more classics. I would hunt down the vinyls. |

Re: No Quarter Ever notice how weird the vocals and drums sound? During the final mix Page decided to slow the track down a quarter step to help give it that murky dark vibe. Probably my all time favorite live Page solos are the ones he did during No Quarter. |

Yes, and the sound of Bohnam's squeaking drum peddle can still be heard on Since I've Been loving because it wasn't edited out in post-production. |
this is the best thread

The original Japanese 45 single of Immigrant Song had this on the B-side. |
Not sure how unpopular this opinion is, but from the very limited material I've heard from this band, I like their blues songs much better than their rock stuff.
This one came on the radio when I was driving home from work tonight, and it was extremely appropriate. |
Their blues **** is ****.

Are you trolling or what?

No, I can't ****ing stand almost anything Led Zeppelin does that isn't rock. They make dull, tedious, white boy blues that goes on for ****ing ever.
