Anyone see the "It Might Get Loud" movie (w/ Jimmy Page, Jack White and the Edge)?

I saw It Might Get Loud, and I thought it was really good. I'm not a big fan of the Edge, but Jimmy Page and Jack White are in my top 10 favorite guitarists. It was more documentary about how they started up in music than them playing. It was definitely worth seeing though.

I saw it too and had pretty much the same reaction. I really liked it even though The Edge annoys me. I also thought it was funny how nervous Jack White was when getting ready to meet the other two guitarists at the beginning.

I have to say, for all you mega-Led Zep fans, listen to The Parlor Mob. I saw them a week or so ago, and they walked on stage looking like Razorlight and I prepared myself for yet another indie crap fest, but the lead singer is quite literally Robert Plant. They have the most awesome sound, mainly Led Zep with some Bob Dylan and a touch of early Aerosmith thrown in. Great use of a harmonica as well. If you feel like a slightly more modern take on one of the greatest rock bands of all time, DO listen to The Parlor Mob's latest album, And You Were A Crow.
Look up 'Hard Times' on Youtube.

I'm planning on going to see them monday. They're playing with Black Stone Cherry over here. Don't have tickets yet but I'm thinking about checking them out. It's only $15

Noooooo I'M SO JEALOUS! Argh!
Yeah I saw them when they were in London last Thursday.
All I can say is GO AND SEE THEM GO AND SEE THEM GO AND SEE THEM!
I freakin' LOVE Black Stone Cherry, although I was originally only going to see Duff Mckagan's Loaded who are one of the supporting bands after Parlor Mob.
Seriously dude...GO. Buy your ticket RIGHT NOW! And have an awesome time, I would give anything to see them all again!

Well, The Parlor Mob was really great. Bought their record which is equally rocking! So thanks for the tip. I was a bit disappointed in Black Stone Cherry. Too much hair flipping and stick twirling. Everything was just loud and was missing dynamics. Unlike their records which are better balanced.

But this is off topic of course since it's a Led Zeppelin topic. Plenty of that in The Parlor Mob's music.
