If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

I prefer their live work over their studio work. How The West Was Won is my favourite live album of all time. What don't you like about it?

generally live the tone doesn't vary enough to hold my attention, but that's not to say it isn't mostly good quality

I think "How The West Was Won" sounds at times like a chopped up live record that was simply put together. As much as I love the band, I still think the definitive hard rock live record of the 70's to be Deep Purple`s Made in Japan.

Oh, I dig the hell out of Physical Graffiti... It's a nice transition between early and late sounds that doesn't get too caught up in the baroque-folk or the keyboard sounds and manages to deliver some lovely corrosive guitar and drum bombast all the while... Not as much juicy bass work as on the earlier records, which I miss

Just scored a Classic Records 200 gram Led Zeppelin I album. Look foward to playing this. Supposed to be the best sounding version of this album. Has anyone seen the "It Might Get Loud" movie just out?
