Who is a better rock frontman for you?

For me it's Axl Rose by a fair margin. Although I'm a fan of DLR-era Van Halen music, Dave has always looked to me as a bit of a clown and a predecessor of the 80's hair metal 'pretty boys' who I can't stand.
And Axl Rose has a better voice and much bigger 'balls' than Roth.

I went with Roth because I like more music by Van Halen than I do by Guns N Roses, although I definitely think Appetite For Destruction is the best album either band has released. I don't have much of a vocal preference, I guess Rose has more versatility in that he can sing really damn high, but I still like more of Van Halen's work.

I went with Axl because I like some of GnR's stuff and can't stand Van Halen. Roth was/is a better showman, while Axl is, well, an a******. I will say GnR as a whole is less pretentious while Van Halen in the Roth era looked more like immature schoolboys.

So, yeah, it's Axl, plastic surgery and all.

Both are awful, but seriously? No question that DLR is the superior braying jackass in this scenario.

well going off of the premise that DLR era Van Halen were pretty decent while GNR can eat a bag of dicks afaic, it’s a pretty easy choice.
