Classic Aerosmith(1973-1977) or classic Rolling Stones(1966-1973)?

The Stones or American Stones?

Blank. 12-11-2017 01:18 PM

Anal beads.

Frownland 12-11-2017 01:20 PM

We should change the poll options to "Rolling Stones" and "I've come to terms with my mental disability and have fully embraced it"

This one's too easy. That's like saying who's better, the Beatles or Freddie and the Dreamers.

OccultHawk 12-11-2017 01:31 PM

it’s like asking who’s taller shaquille o neal or some ****ing midget

The world's tallest midget is as tall as me.

OccultHawk 12-11-2017 01:36 PM

You’re the world’s gayest midget.

Voted Stones, but for me it's not that easy. Classic Aerosmith material is some of the finest rock'n'roll ever made.

No, it isn’t.

I would have asked who was better, Aerosmith or Kiss (they were contemporaries). I would have picked Aerosmith hands down on that one.

Let's agree to disagree. And can you explain why it isn't?
Aerosmith were a decade-defining American rock band of the 70's.

As if we needed more evidence that America sucks.

Nope. In the 70's USA don't suck: Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Grand Funk Railroad, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Blue Oyster Cult, Boston, Kansas, Heart, Tom Petty & Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen, The Stooges, New York Dolls, Steely Dan and Chicago.
KISS is easily the worst of the 70's American rock bands. Eagles and Grateful Dead are very polarising, so I won't include them in the greats.

Bolded = great
Underlined = not suck but aight
Other = suck

Other/(Bolded+Underlined+Other)= 0.5789473

Therefore, more than half of the 70s US rock bands sucked.

rubber soul 12-11-2017 03:45 PM

The New York Dolls certainly did not suck. I'm taking away your glam privileges, Frown.

What do you have against The Stooges, BOC, and Kansas? I didn't hear any DJs saying we had to hate them now but I'm willing to follow the law if you can link up.

Frownland 12-11-2017 04:26 PM

Unnecessary comma derived from speech patterns instead of grammar rules as well.

OccultHawk 12-11-2017 04:28 PM

I think commas are a judgment call.

grindy 12-11-2017 04:34 PM

Unnecessary spaces are called "idiotspaces" in German and I hate them.
I guess they are a little less dumb in English though, where compound words can have spaces.

Frownland 12-11-2017 04:35 PM

Germans are savage af

Don't be so fast and bulbous when you correct Cthulhu Vista. It is called an Oxford comma FYI.

I rescind my Oxford comma defense, and will now invoke the parenthetical comma defense.
