The Beatles never done Beggars Banquet or Let it Bleed. I suppose the Stones will have to do a rooftop concert!

Thirty-six years. Never mind the fact that the Beatles individually (with the exception of Ringo) have released good albums since then.

If you're going to use the Rolling Stones' longevity as a bargaining chip, it's pretty pointless to compare them. Lennon and Harrison are already dead.

Even with another 40 years as a band, the Beatles still have more songs I like then the Stones.

Plus any suggestion that the Stones we're cool has been proved false by their actions the past 15 years.

I want to know what the fux up with Scorsese directing their latest show. There are hundreds of better live bands now, and Marty picks the one that wears Depends onstage. Don't get me wrong, Shine a Light would have been great forty years ago. But now it's just an epic fail.

I didn't like 'em. And if you compare them to the last Beatles record (Let It Be), they don't stand up whatsoever. Exile on Main St is the last one to come close to being as good as a Beatles record.

Why do they have to be compared to the Beatles to be any good?

Pardon my reference to the thread's topic. Which I did in the post you quoted too, btw.
