The Beatles own the Rolling Stones, and the Stones even have 3 more decades of music!

Absolutely ridiculous considering they could have easily dropped one of the lesser tracks. So all you folks talking about "filler" on their earlier albums, have to realize London records was in large part to blame.
They usually excluded the singles back then from the albums, even if they were recorded during the sessions. Take The Beatles for example.

Rubber Soul - excluded Day Tripper/We Can Work It Out
Revolver - excluded Paperback Writer/Rain
Sgt. Pepper - excluded Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane

That's a really hard question, they're both incredible, revolutionary bands.
The Stones were definately the "cooler" and more rockin band, but I adore The Beatles.

I don't even see how the Stones were "cooler." I thought the whole atmosphere of the Beatles was way cooler.

Beatles, I personally think their music is much more timeless as well as diverse. But then again, I may be biased since I grew up on listening to the Beatles. But that is my vote.
