Default The Seldom Discussed Lee Michaels

A classic pop rock performer that never really got a whole lot of exposure other then his "Do You Know What I Mean " song which hit the am charts back in the day. The most compelling album that I have heard is his Lee Michael's Live album. Does anyone else here like this fellows talent?

Lee Michaels had a huge following in the late 60s & early 70s. He was considered part of the psychedelic music genre but he really was a blue eyed soul artist. He played a Hammond B3 organ and had a stripped down sound, often playing with only a drummer. He moved to Hawaii and retired from music in the early 80s.

His biggest hit was Do You Know What I Mean in 1971.

I'm glad for him. Vacating the music business while it still had some talented people in it.
