this is very true. so maybe a$$ licking does have something to do with it now that hes a mod. (not on my part though.)

people have started to like Satchmo long before he became a mod and even if it wasn't like this (but it is) it's better not to hate him for being a mod and everything

Anyway, whether anyone enjoys a band or not is merely a matter of personal preference. To dump on a particular band serves no purpose, other than to start a dust-up with the music fans who are fans of the band in question.

I find certain bands not to my taste, but would never dream of wasting enough time on them to actually start a thread proclaiming the fact. Why bother? If you don't like them, don't listen to them. It's not difficult to figure out.

I don't think mods get flamed as much as other members, but beyond that I don't see what sort of preferential treatment comes with being a mod, or what benefit there is to sucking up in the first place. I don't see that Iv'e been treated any differently since becoming a mod.

well....maybe the mods dont get flamed as much because the "non mods" know that the mods have the power to disable their accounts..etc. that might be one reason behind the said "ass licking."
