Default James Gang

Sadly there is not much ever written about this band. They seem to be somewhat forgotten out there in the 70s rock era! They put out quite a few albums, but only struck gold with James Gang Rides Again. If anyone here enjoys their music it would be nice if you wrote something about it here....

Midnight Man of course. I think Walk Away was the only song to crack the top 40, could be wrong though. I remember seeing the Roy Kenner/Dominic Toriano line up on TV. It was either on Don Kirschner, Midnight Special or Inconcert can't remember which.

So many people came and went after Joe Walsh. There was Roy Kenner, Dominic Toriano, Tommy Bolin and that's just a few. Each brought a different music style, guess that's why they never cracked the big time?

I bought most of their records for $1.99 at E.J. Korvettes.

JAMES GANG!

Tommy Bolin!

Most of the members here aren't gonna dig this because it sounds so dated, but back when it first came out.... Killer.

Tommy Bolin was the missing link between Hendrix and Van Halen. I can prove it.

Love Tommy Bolin. Still have Teaser and Private eyes on vinyl and listen to the hell out of them. But I have to admit I like the Joe Walsh error of the band the best.

I do like Rides Again the best. I thought "Thirds" wasn't very good, but do like Bang. Most of Rides Again is solid and underrated. However since that is the one album everyone who knows about the James Gang knows, I thought I'd post another good jam from Bang.
