I'm a fan of original rockabilly. The modern revivalists are sincere in their love of the genre, but I find there's a lot of variability. For me, a little bit of psychobilly goes a long way.

You can't go wrong with the originators, such as Carl Perkins, et al. And by far the greatest rockabilly ever recorded was by Johnny Burnette and the Rock 'n' Roll Trio. Kitten, if you haven't acquainted yourself with them, get the CD on Amazon entitled The Johnny Burnette Trio: Rockabilly Boogie post-haste! (Sorry, I'm new here so I can't post a link to it till I get more posts under my belt!)
