Love this psychobilly number by the Delta Bombers: "The Wolf"

Also, I'm getting into JD McPherson's music, has a lot of soul to it, and what a powerful voice:

And another good one by the Go-Getters, goin' out to all you aforementioned sexually-repressed vintage teenagers out there...

Hillbilly Moon Explosion is a Swiss Rockabilly band. I love the pleasantly contrasting vocals in this lovely duet.

Wanda Jackson, Brenda Lee, and Conway Twitty are my big three in Rockabilly right now.

Brenda Lee's version of What'd I Say (originally Ray Charles) is very quickly becoming one of my favorite songs of all time. It's absolute fire, Brenda's energy on it is smokin', the production is mondo heavy, whoever is on the kit is a ****ing animal, and I've read multiple times online that Jimmy Page is the session guitarist for this track, and it feels true to my ears, especially towards the end. If it is true it only makes it even more magical knowing where this kind of energy would take him only a few years later.

I absolutely love rockabilly, and it's psychobilly offshoot, as exemplified by bands such as Reverend Horton Heat. I had the honor of seeing the Queen Of Rockabilly, Wanda Jackson, three times before she stopped touring. Here's one of my favorite tunes by her:

A night of rockabilly or psychobilly is always fun in a club. I recommend The Delta Bombers if you haven't seen them. I saw them open up for RHH last year and they killed.
