I never hear much about these bands but they're both great.
The Sorrows are Garage/Freakbeat/Rhythm & Blues. The album Take a Heart is excellent. Maybe they're relatively unknown because it was their only album. I really should get more stuff in this style, I like their dark edge. Tages are a Swedish band often referred to in their day as The Swedish Beatles. Studio is a fantastic and rather upbeat album most akin to the earlier Beatles sound, a little bit like early Bee Gees as well. Contrast has a bit more mature sound, strange since it came out first. Unfortunately I can't find any videos from that album on YouTube.
