the beatles are grandpa music, i don't see how young people today can listen to that lolipop music, there's plenty of kickass 60's music ...

Only the beatlers early jams were lollipop, there's nothing sucgar coated about helter skelter, and Instant Karma is on par with the rock of that time. Don't go feeding me your croation lies.

argh, adidasss, you just showed you have no knowledge on the beatles THUS you cannot comment. early stuff yes, they were pop, latter stuff, as someone correctly pointed out, way ahead of their time. their experimentation with time frames, chords and instrumentals were so influential. lollipop it was not.
the kinks, hendrix, small faces, yardbirds, velvet underground, joplin, beefheart, cream, the who. its all good.

I can't spell the name of a country I might or might not be able to find on a map; you talk out your ass about the beatles. Somehow I feel like I should say "who cares."

Love you Stu :love: The 60's were kick ass for music. Plus the 60's did spawn that crappy festival. What was it called again? Oh yeah Woodstock baby!! May we not forget Elvis please. For as Mr. Lennon said 'before elvis there was nothing.' Okays so he started in '53 but give him some credit for lasting through the 60's.

It hasn't gone anywhere. You must not have any Classic Rock stations in your town, or their playing ****ty music!!! 'Cause I listen to all kinds of music. Then again, I've got Sirius Sat. radio! So, maybe that's got something to do with it???

im on ur side here, all this fukin *** music is out today, people need to start to listen to the roots of rock. What do you guys think of the Velvet Underground and the MC5
