What does Rumors have to do with any of those? Not quite sure you listen to music for yourself more of a "because everyone else does" type of person. And Thriller was mediocre doesn't deserve half of the praise and Dark Side of The Moon wasn't Floyd at their finest. Led Zeppelin stole songs from other bands especially on IV. Most notably Stairway to Heaven which was stolen from Spirit's song Taurus.
Good lord.
And Spirit stole that chord progression from Davie Graham who stole it from a few classical composers who'd used it even earlier than 1959 when this was recorded. Try posting about something you actually know about next time.
