Agreed on both counts, although Rick Davies was a better pianist IMO.

Once he's done with Supertramp, Batty needs to hear Steely Dan and Ambrosia--maybe the Alan Parsons Project too.

And this whole conversation has reminded me to check out Toto. I've been meaning to listen along, as it were, to Anteater and your journal.

Pet Sounds, my man! Was just checking in to mention I Robot. One of the best albums of the late 70s IMO as far as songwriting and uber production goes.

Parsons was of course the dude behind the engineering and production of Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

I Robot is an amazing headphones album - especially with some herb involved.

I'm gonna be honest - I hate all of these bands. I like Fleetwood Mac a little though. I guess Batty is just more open-minded than me.

I'm sorry, I couldn't quite hear you. Could you say it louder and into the tape recorder?

Serious question just so I can get some perspective. Name 5 bands that you really like.

I gotta go with the Styx, all the rest have songs that I still listen to, but I never really could get into Styx's music as much compared to the others. None of them were really my favorite bands or anything, but I still listen to their music

Oh my God, from the 5 options, I love 4, the one that I don't like is Styx, but because I've never listened to them!
