Best album over-all would be 'No More Tears'.
It is not really due to Ozzy though, it is just that Zakk Wylde shreds on that one and also Lemmy wrote that one 'mama i'm coming home' song that won lots of awards and stuff. Ozzy himself is a wanker in my book. |

While I still think Blizzard of Ozz is overrated, I have been giving Ozzy's solo material some more attention and I'd say half of the album is actually pretty durn good. "Suicide Solution" is just plain badass though. All this talk about neoclassical solos distracts from Randy Rhoads being a riff god. If only he had a better singer...

It's more nostalgia for me than something I'd actually listen to for the sake of entertaining myself, and the only reason to listen to any of Ozzy's solo albums are the guitars and expensive production. I can imagine the dry tracks of Ozzy are comparable to the sound you'd get from stepping on a Howler Monkey.
