You seem to like a lot of things! I never had you pegged as a Bon Jovi sort of man, though.

The Scorpions were always one of the best at rock ballads, Journey gets a lot of mention. Heart is a band that comes to mind, there are so many good bands to mention, especially from the 80s.

My personal favorite rock ballad has always been 'Our Love' by Krokus.

That is true. Personally, I think a lot of their stuff is a bit cliched and slightly overrated. It's weird how scary they used to be as Santana and how different they became after becoming Journey.

Them being a former part of Santana (Carlos), is the influence of Neal Schon style comes from (basically) on guitar. (Schon is a star in his own right).

Have you heard their current drummer since 1998 Deen Castronovo on vocals! One of the most impressive performances Ive seen by a drummer. Within the standards of Phil Collins or Don Henley anyway.

Queens drummer has an outstanding video singing on vocals as well.

Absolutely. Have you noticed that all of them have really good voices?

Well..they are professionals, they do it for a living.

They want to be somebody. Instead of working for a living.

I personally expect nothing less from them.

But Nickleback do their music for a living, and no one will be giving Chad Croeger any "Best Voice" awards!
I expect a lot less from them than from Queen! (Have you HEARD their new album, by the way? I couldn't believe my ears!)

No, haven't heard it yet.

I guess one could see it better from the prospect of getting the job as the drummer for a band like Journey.

It's bloody hilarious. Chad seems to sound more and more like that guy from Reef every year. His voice is so strained that I worry for the safety of his vocal chords.
