I can hear why GHS has fans - No question that "Angie" is certainly one of the finest 70's Rock ballads (Great winter-time listening...or nice for getting your date into the back area of that super van, and I meant that in the best way possible) and "Heartbreaker" is one mighty fine jam, but the album to me was the start of the Post-Exile Stones that had some solid tracks, but just did not connect all the way with me. "Winter" is another fine track, "Dancing With Mr. D" had some great imagery in the lyrics, and there's "Star Star," a great soundtrack to a Decadent scene in the 70's. It captured a flavor, and Keith always sounds great, but I'm more into the Brian Jones era to Exile.

Angie is definitely the greatest break up song ever. My wife's name is Angela and she knows what will be playing if we ever divorce.

Exile on Main Street is by far their best album. Their most complete album.

My best bro's mom's name is Angie. One day, I decided it would be hilariously funny to play guitar at her whilst singing "Angie". As a Stones fan, she was thrilled.

Aftermath for me. The combination of the UK and US editions are to me the highlight of the Brian Jones era with plenty of interesting instrumental backgrounds blending in with the surroundings with ease as well as being the first full album of Jagger/Richards songs.

It would have to be Exile On Main Street which just has so many powerful, atmospheric songs.

Not going to lie, I find the way Jagger sings the name "Angie" to be quite grating.

I have 3 albums rated the same on RYM: Beggars Banquet, Sticky Fingers, and It's Only Rock 'n' Roll. The first two would probably duke it out for top honor, but I'm not prepared to make that call.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
