Agreed - Alter Bridge do suck… almost as much as Creed did.

yeah its the same damn sound, except this new guy can sing, and Stapp sang with marbles in his mouth (save Creed's best song "What If" which sounds like call of Ktulu at the begining)

And your optimism will be your death sir. You think an entire board share the same opinion...one thats contrary to a majority of most people. Come now boo boo, its very upright and PC to give people the benefit, but call a spade a spade or you'll be looked up as flimsy sir, don't go to any big cities, the con artists will take ALL of your money.

Lol.

I wasnt generalizing, im just saying the huge amount of hate AC/DC gets on other forums is not so present on this one, i just think its weird how certain forums attract a majority of people who believe in something opposite to what a other forum does, theres just something about this site that attracts more laid back posters.

Most people on DDD are entiltist bastards, of course there are exceptions to the rule...Just like how there are entiltist bastards on this forum (Kempson).

Yes… Stapp is god-awful - just ask all those Creed fans that demanded their money back at their concert a while back. Priceless.

That's a Led Zep song? Unless AC/DC has a song called Black Dog as well...

Beatin Around the Bush

Shooting Star 01-22-2006 02:18 PM

That song... The one where the singer's voice sounds all gravelly. And uh... Where the guitarist can't seem to use more than four chords...

Oh Wait! That's all of them!

No it isn`t

They had a singer with a whiskey soaked voice & THEN a singer with a gravelly voice.

So which is it?

TheBig3 01-22-2006 04:52 PM

Shooting Star was some newb come to carry the anti-ac/dc flag, He'll be either conform or be crushed like a bug, just like every other jackass who brings an opinion they heard about, and can't back up other than to say "oh come on, everyone knows that..."

Dirty Deeds and You shook Me All Night Long

Spike*Spiegel 01-22-2006 10:01 PM

blech. i dont really think any of them are good. their sound makes me want to burst my eardrums with sharp sticks

boo boo 01-23-2006 12:58 AM

I remember a poster from DDD who bashed AC/DC and Nirvana for "their 3 Chord and 12 Barre redunancys"...He also seemed convinced that all music in 12 Barre and 3 or 4 chords is bad...Dispite rock musics origins begining with those very things.

God damn Journey fans.

Reminds me of another DDD poster (i whine about DDD all the time, you might have to get used to that) who hates GnR, despite all the reasons he gave (The vocals, the guitar, the lyrics) he liked Poison and Def Leppard, which always led me to believe that he only bashed them all the time to get a reaction...Probably the same thing this guy is doing now.

Yeah, personally I don't mind Nirvana at all, but it's a bit hypocritical for him to rant about AC/DC's simplicity after liking Nirvana. And I notice a lot of people hating GnR for no apparent reason.

MURDER JUNKIE 01-23-2006 03:05 AM

The only reason people don't like GNR right now is that they haven't released anything in ten years. I listened to GNR LIES the other day for my first time in about five years and I had a complete blast, I generally felt really good about listening to it. If you hate this album you need a full frontal lobotomy
