I`m afraid so There were also a number of additional metal bands that I thought about putting on the list, but if I did that, it might show too much biasness from me.

Twenty diverse 3 piece bands, that are generally far more enjoyable to the ear than the Police, thats the basic criteria here. Unless of course you want to set different parameters.
