Thumbs up Sting - "The Dream Of The Blue Turtles"

That was by far the more complete album that contained solid material from start to finish, all the way through the album itself, in my opinion also. I still like the classics by the Police like Roxanne and some others. The Police are One of the great 3 piece bands.

Synchronicity is my least fav. Starts off good, but the Copeland and Sumner song just destroy the flow, and I'm sick to death of the Sting songs in the second half. The best is GITM, followed closely by ZM, RdB, and Outlandos...w/Syncro lagging way behind.

Maybe you could name a lot more than 20!.. more than likely. The Police we're unique musically in their day, kinda similar to U2 in style, (in a way), but the Police we're more involved into electronic effects more so than U2.
The Police were a popular 3 piece band of their day and era. But, there are far better talented or renowned 3 piece bands that are better. Unknown, or known, to consider and choose from.

Police similiar to U2...now I`m really lost

Despite never liking them, their style was always so distinctive...that you could hardly mistake them for anybody else.

What other 3-piece band could also be compared to the style of the Police other than U2? One band is just as well compared to, and as good as the next. (A lot of 3-piece bands could be compared) I would think actually without much thought on the subject Its all a matter of opinion, but I agree, no one sounds exactly like the Police, and very few resemble their style perfectly. And it would be hard to find any similarity to "Sting"s vocals. That's one of the main reasons I suggested U2, (Vocal Similarity's). Especially when holding into consideration certain years & eras of the Police & U2.

Hello? I've never heard a U2 reggae-ish song.

I get your point, since the Police do actually have and use a lot of reggae (percussion especially) to their music.
But are you really suggesting that U2 doing doesn't resonate or apply reggae influence and accenting to their music with certain songs? (Not quite as much as the Police I admit). But I say I can find and show U2 songs that show reggae influence.. you want a bet? Besides, your taking my prior example/statement with way to much emphasis.
