He didn't stop doing solo work. In fact, Walsh only did 2 records with the Eagles before the "reunion". In between Hotel California and the Long Run , he released his biggest hit "Life's Been Good" on arguably his most popular album "But Seriously Folks". The actual point I was making, is that when people think of Joe Walsh they think of the Eagles first and then his solo stuff etc. The rest of Joe Walsh's discography is really just known by fans of his.
