I have to strongly disagree.

He didn't stop doing solo work.

In fact, Walsh only did 2 records with the Eagles before the "reunion". In between Hotel California and the Long Run , he released his biggest hit "Life's Been Good" on arguably his most popular album "But Seriously Folks". His stint with The Eagles did not hinder Mr. Walsh's solo output at all.

As for the OP:

Bernie Leadon
Tossup between On the Border/Desperado
Already Gone

But Seriously Folks is a good album, but I don't think it had the same levels as Barnstorm an absolute classic and The Smoker the Player, The Drinker You Get.

The actual point I was making, is that when people think of Joe Walsh they think of the Eagles first and then his solo stuff etc. The rest of Joe Walsh's discography is really just known by fans of his.

Desperado
Life in the Fast Lane
Heartache Tonight
Witchy Woman
One of these Nights
Hotel California
Lyin' Eyes
In the City
Take It Easy

1. One of These Nights (I get chills every time I hear the opening 30 seconds)
2. Life In The Fast Lane
3. New Kid In Town
4. Victim Of Love
5. Those Shoes

GREAT BAND! Would make my "Top 10" List with ease

I think it is The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get.

The Smoker You Drink-was released in 1973. I liked Rocky Mountain Way the song. I like Life's Been Good To Me So Far. Ordinary Average Guy.(I love that. Reminds me of me.)
My favorite title of a Walsh LP? You Can't Argue With A Sick Mind.

Damn it.
I forgot Victim of Love and Those Shoes.:bonkhead:

Tequila Sunrise is a good one. I also didnt see Peaceful Easy Feeling. I always like the mellower Eagles stuff myself. Good harmonies and great musicians.
