Default Bigger tradegy in Rock history Jim Morrison or Jimi Hendrix?

Note: This has nothing to do with how they died. This is mainly based on their careers and contributions to music. I'll start off with Jim Morrison. He was the lead singer and lyricist of The Doors. He had a very distinctive style of writing and he wrote many classic songs. He was also an extremely unique front man. Jimi Hendrix without a doubt the greatest guitar player of all time. He was also an extremely talented writer. Jimi Hendrix is one of the most influential people in Rock history.
I personally feel Morrison was, his lyrics can are just completely unique and he could of done so much if he hadn't of died. I'm a fan of both but being a songwriter myself I'm largely influenced by Morrison so that's one of the reasons I chose him.
Opinions? Thoughts?
