The End and Break On Through are legendary songs in my book.

I've always enjoyed Riders of the Storm and LA Woman. They both have an exquisite texture like that of a 3-layer cake, first they hit you with the strong intro, flow seamlessly into the start of the song, then totally make a mess of themselves with the vocal/guitar/piano solo and then finish the cake with one final lunge of delightful trimelos.

Damn, I'm hungry now.

I would have to say my favorite song is Soul Kitchen. I just like the intro and the steady beat throughout. Something about that song just gives me a feel of an average everyday routine theme.
I`m a huge Doors fan but only get around to listening to them about 4 times a month, but I tend to think about their music every day.

Whenever I meet somebody thats not familiar with the Doors, playing Riders on the Storm gets them into the group every time.

i'd have to say that my favourite Doors song is 'The Soft Parade', its a Doors epic along the ranks of L.A. Woman, When the Musics Over or The End, but it seems totally forgotten, which is a shame.
