George Harrison

One thing that irked me about Paul and John is that they seemed to give off a "whatever" sort of attitude when George was working on songs for an album. Then only having three songs in total when released and others being trashed. Though George was a brilliant songwriter like with "Something", "Here Comes the Sun" and a song on Help (whose name escapes me). George to be honest is the only one I enjoy listening to post Beatles wise. Paul though great is too much like his Beatles work, and John well John is WAY better in The Beatles.

George also seems passionate about his music and was a good guitar player. Maybe even a nice guy, but I can't judge on that since I never met him.

John Lennon is mine. He was the best writer, and the most talented one.

When I was a Beatlemaniac back in my teens it was John, and I always made distinctions (still do somewhat) between his and Paul's songs, especially when playing and singing them myself. John was the freaked out one who pushed the boundaries while Paul always was more 'safe' (generally speaking). Nowadays though, I have to say that George earns the title of the overall most likeable Beatle. First of all, every song he contributed was good, something that probably was helped by his limited output, and furthermore some of them rank among the best Beatles tune ever ("While my guitar...", "Here comes the sun", "Taxman", "If I needed someone" etc.). In addition he also released what I think is the best solo Beatle album ever, "All things must pass".

The song on Help! - Was that "I Need You" or "You Like Me Too Much?"

George helped out Monty Python as well as appeared in The Rutles. Some of his "Promo Films" (as they were called inthe Pre-MTV days) were alright as well, especially for "This Song."
