Default King's X - Its Love

The hard rock and progressive metal band "Kings X" is a good band that is not as popular as they should be in my opinion, a good 3-piece band with outstanding vocal harmonies. Especially the single "Its Love" which is their most popular song and a rock classic.

Kings X, this is a favourite band of mine with their mid-western/Styx/Hendrix/Kansas and Beatles hybrid style sound. Their three essential albums are Gretchen Goes to Nebraska, Faith Hope Love and Dogman

i know The Band is pretty well known among serious fans of 60s rock, but i feel like they are pretty unheard of and underrated among the general public.

Blue Cheer is considered by some to be one of the first true heavy metal bands.

Disagree about the 80`s though, as they had some very good albums in that decade, far better than the dance influenced stuff that they put out in the 90`s
never knew you are a Sparks' fan

i didn't like them as much as Queensryche

as for me, Boston and REO Speedwagon aren't exactly unknown, but i do feel that they were extremely underrated in the classic rock canon, besides their one or two big hits
