The Beatles made trends, they didn't follow them: The Beatles were real, uh, trendsetters.
The Beatles were more diverse: They've dabbled in quite a variety of stuff. The Stones...Haven't. Not to say they quite deserve the 'blues cover band' comment I saw somewhere, but they stick to what they're good at. RS 1: So... RS 2: Listen to the riff in She Said She Said and then tell me the Beatles didn't have good riffs. RS 3: Lol. B 1: Jagger sang about what he knew, which was drugs, sex and booze. Nothing wrong with that. |

Taxman has like the most basic riff ever, and I'd take it over any Stones riff any day of the week.
